About
Titled “To a Bright Tomorrow for Heavy Metal”, this festival crossed the heavy, dark image of heavy metal with the lighter image of a “bright future”, expressed through performances and an exhibition. Participatory side programs were introduced so that the new audience coming to metal after the pandemic could enjoy a comfortable experience. It featured the “Mullae Metal City Exhibition” of past festival works, signage, photos and videos, musician interviews, audience programs, and a media-art sculpture made with Mullae-dong artists (the MMC Robot).
Concept
A festival to revere the Korean metalheads who proudly kept the scene alive through the darkness of COVID, bringing out the “bright tomorrow for heavy metal” that no one could speak of until now.
