About
Titled “All the Metals Lead to Mullae”, this festival established Mullae-dong as a center of heavy metal. 12 bands took part in the main event (9 Korean, 3 from China, Japan and Russia), with an artist networking program, a four-country producers’ forum and musician interviews. Mullae-dong artists and ironworkers built the festival sculpture together (the MMC Gate).
Concept
A plan to make the iron city of Mullae-dong known as the first gateway Asian metal must pass through and a hub of exchange between countries. Bands representing Korea, China, Japan and Russia were invited.
